Bespoke Timber & Hempcrete Construction
Locally sourced larch, innovative curved timber trusses, and high-performance Hempcrete—designed and engineered for low-carbon, efficient buildings.

We designed and engineered a bespoke timber frame specifically for Hempcrete construction, alongside a full demolition and groundworks package.

Larch from our own woodland was felled, milled, and structurally graded within 10 miles of the site, forming the barn’s beam and joist structure and significantly reducing transport impact.

To achieve a highly insulated yet lightweight roof, we developed a bespoke curved engineered truss system. Over 75 curved trusses were engineered and manufactured locally—an innovative first for the supplier—delivering both performance and efficiency.

Organic low-dust hemp was sourced from France, paired with a locally produced lime binder to ensure quality and consistency. The project also supported skills development through a hands-on Hempcrete workshop, contributing to wider industry upskilling.
